Looking like a cross between a sneaker and a hiking boot, the Breeze combines waterproof leather with breathable mesh and a Vibram Context outsole for superior traction on the roughest terrains. The Breeze is the perfect boot for light backpacking in warmer temperatures due to their superior breathability.

Like all Vasque boots, the Breeze GTXcomes in two styles, designed specifically for either men or women. Understanding that women’s feet are fundamentally different from men’s, all of Vasque’s women’s boots are shaped specifically to enhance comfort and performance. Women’s Breeze boots have a narrower heel pocket, increased instep support, an adjusted heel to ball ratio (to enhance flexibility) and a higher arch. This more precise fit means women don’t have to be satisfied with uncomfortable men’s boots.

In addition to the waterproof, smooth leather uppers, breathable Goretex membrane enhances dryness while a dual-EVA midsole, bimodal insole and padded collar all provide extra support and comfort. The Vibram Summit outsoles (exclusive to Vasque) are enhanced with Vasque’s special Kinetic insole which provides heel support and lateral stability for superior performance and comfort. Internal moisture control is provided by a combination Dry-Tech and breathable Goretex insole, with shock absorption provided by a dual density PU midsole. The Summit is wrapped in premium leather uppers from the SB Foot Tanning company, one of the last remaining tanneries in the United States (which happens to be located down the road from Vasque’s headquarters in Red Wing Minnesota.
